Greed will get you into trouble and in this case, my opponent's greed prevented him from laying down a big hand.
His first error was probably not re-raising pre-flop. However, he probably wanted action, so I don't blame him. I can't blame my opponent for calling all the way down because there's just no way he could have known I had 97s. At the same time, my check raise on the turn should have alerted him that I had a big hand, but his greed blinded him. Don't let greed blind you.
